The texture is smooth, sleek and finely woven, with medium sheen. We haven't opened it, and the folded, thread tied bolt weight 4. 3 ounces and measures about 4" x 14". x 1 4" thick. The label indicated 4M which is about 4. 3 yards. From what we can see, it looks like excellent, pristine condition. 100% Silk. Never used, labels still intact, age unknown. Japan.
