Like the original mixing bowl, they are made in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. These bowls have a larger bottom, making them great for batters that require folding. The wider base makes it easier to fold without losing the aeration of the mix. They're also useful for heavier tasks like kneading dough or mashing potatoes.
