The base is Carignane (57%) from a vineyard planted 80 years ago outside of Ukiah in Mendocino Co. Then comes old vine Zinfandel (35%) from a vineyard located in the foothills east of the town of Hopland, also in Mendocino. The rest is Petite Sirah from Sonoma Co.s Knights Valley AVA. Each of the components were separately fermented and aged in 45% new French and American oak
