The scene is out of my imagination

The actual aircraft was flying whilst it was being painted which I thought was rather nice

The type employs the variable geometry (swing wing) concept

and was to be the main feature of the composition

The original canvas measured 20" x 14" and is signed on the back by Flight Lieutenant William Walker AE

Bristol Blenheim Options:Signed and unframed The scene is out ofFirst conceived as a high speed light bomber the Blenheim was the first British aircraft to have an all metal stressed skin construction and one of the first to have a retractable undercarriage, flaps, powered gun turret and variable pitch propellors.
